Sharon’s Kids Charity Drive-Thru Breakfast
Yes, it’s that time of year again! Time for Sharon’s Kids Charity Drive-Thru Breakfast in support of Holiday Hope. Be sure to greet friends and enjoy an awesome breakfast in support of Sharon’s Kids. Saturday December 4, 2021 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at 1180 Simcoe Street North, OSHAWA. Second annual event sponsored by The Crooked Uncle . With every donation of a gift for youth – ages 13 & up, you’ll receive a free delicious breakfast. Gift ideas include: toiletries, blow dryers, curling irons, hygiene products, make-up/shaving kits, socks and gifts cards (Best Buy, Tim Hortons, Chapters/Indigo).

Ontario Tech Women’s Hockey Game in Support of Holiday Hope – November 26th
Thanks to the Ontario Tech Women’s Hockey Team for their support of Holiday Hope. All proceeds from their game on Friday November 26, 2021 will help support Holiday Hope. Purchase your tickets through Eventbrite .
DCAF announces a new partnership with Complexly Simple. This new corporate supporter has committed to donating a portion of their profits throughout the year to support the Bursary Program. Providing assistance to youth who are pursuing their post-secondary education.

Own Your Story
Meghan Ney from For The Herd Stories presented this incredible initiative that generated over $5700 in support for horseback riding. Funds will enable horseback riding lessons for children in care and mental health programs for children.
Refa’s Thrift Closet
Refa’s Thrift Closet supports DCAF. The mission of Refa’s Thrift Closet is to “provide lightly loved clothing to families in need”. A percentage of sales are donated regularly in support of DCAF Mental Health Programs. These programs will assist children and youth in our community. Visit Refa’s Thrift Closet for more information.
