At the age of 8, Anushka has written and published her first book, The Magic Mirror. Anushka and her family have been busy sharing this book at various events throughout the Durham Region. Own Your Story
Meghan Ney from For The Herd Stories presented this incredible initiative that generated over $5700 in support for horseback riding. Funds are providing horseback riding lessons for children in care and mental health programs for children.
Refa’s Thrift Closet
Refa’s Thrift Closet supports DCAF. The mission of Refa’s Thrift Closet is to “provide lightly loved clothing to families in need”. be sure to visit Refa’s at the Courtice Flea Market. A percentage of sales are donated regularly in support of DCAF Mental Health Programs. These programs will assist children and youth in our community. Visit Refa’s Thrift Closet for more information.
