You are invited to host your own event in support of DCAF. Your event would provide essential assistance for children and youth in the community. The children and youth being supported are living in vulnerable family situations. Consider the possibilities as you organize and host an event to raise funds for the Durham Children’s Aid Foundation (DCAF).
Event ideas may include: hosting an auction, a barbecue, a clothing drive or a tournament (i.e. baseball, volleyball, or golf) with proceeds going to support DCAF. Similarly, live and virtual events can be hosted. The event possibilities are endless, bound only by your imagination. Brain storm ideas with family, friends and colleagues. In addition, hosting an event could also raise the profile of your community group or business.
View a list of possible events for your consideration to assist with the development of your event. Download a copy of Events of Hope to help with the planning of your event. After that, feel free to contact DCAF staff for additional assistance.
