This year’s Signature Event – Fore the Future Charity Golf Classic was held on Thursday September 22, 2022 at Royal Ashburn Golf Club . The event was attended by over golfers who enjoyed a great day of gold, great food, networking while raising funds in support of the DCAF Bursary Program

2022 Event – Raised over $50,000

This annual event, Fore the Future Charity Golf Classic at Royal Ashburn Golf & Country Club is one of DCAF’s signature fundraising events. This event generates funds to assist youth in the care of the Durham Children’s Aid Society. Funds raised enable youth to overcome the financial barriers as future college and/or university students. Fore the Future supports the Post Secondary Education Bursary Fund assisting with the rising costs of tuition, books, housing, technology and other essential expenses. Receiving a bursary is a life changing experience for the youth.

A bursary provides each recipient with the opportunity of a brighter future, which they so greatly deserve. Many of the bursary recipients have unfortunately experienced unexpected barriers along their journey. It is time for Durham’s youth to receive the support and encouragement they require to pursue their goals and dreams.

Making an Impact for Today’s Youth!

In addition to the Post Secondary Education Bursary Fund, funds are also used for a range of initiatives including: Summer Camp, Holiday Season Gifts, Recreational and Wellness activities and for situations requiring Urgent Care and Support. Together, we are working to ensure that No Child or Youth Shall Be Left Behind.

Contributions of $300 include: Greens Fee, Cart, Brunch, Dinner and chance to win great prizes. Passports will be available for $25.00 – your ticket to feature holes. Featuring a $10,000 Hole-In-One Contest, chance to win a Harley Davidson, amazing samplings of food and drinks and great prizes. Fabulous Raffle Auction will be available throughout the day and an Online Auction is being offered beginning during the month of October.
