2021 Event Date – To Be Announced
Royal Ashburn Golf & Country Club
The 15th annual Fore the Future Charity Golf Classic at Royal Ashburn Golf & Country Club is DCAF’s signature fundraising event. This event raises much needed funds to assist youth in the care of the Durham Children’s Aid Society. Funds raised enable youth to overcome the financial barriers as future college and/or university students. Fore the Future supports the Post Secondary Education Bursary Fund assisting with the rising costs of tuition, books, housing, technology and other essential expenses. Receiving a bursary is a life changing experience for the youth. A bursary provides each recipient with the opportunity of a brighter future, which they so greatly deserve. Many of the bursary recipients have unfortunately experienced many barriers along their journey. It is time for Durham’s youth to receive the support and encouragement they require to pursue their goals and dreams.
Making an Impact for Today’s Youth!
In addition to the Post Secondary Education Bursary Fund, funds are also used for a range of initiatives including: Summer Camp, holiday season gifts, recreational activities and for situations requiring Urgent Care and Support. Together, we are working to ensure that No Child Shall Be Left Behind.
Due to social distancing restrictions, this year’s format will feature staggered tee times starting at 10:00 am.
