Most of us have fond memories of playing ball with our parents, learning how to ride a bike, going to concerts, having mom cheer us on at a soccer game, or having dad videotape us at a dance performance.
Children who have suffered from abuse and neglect may not have these memories. Not only are they missing the memories, they also never learned the important skills that come with those activities.
That is why the Foundation is committed to providing recreation, enrichment and skill development programs such as organized sports, music lessons, after school activities and school trips.
Thanks to our generous donors, hundreds of children are able to participate in sports, music, and other recreation and skill development programs every year.
