Children often come into care with nothing more than the clothes on their back. Many come into care on very short notice and don't have time to collect anything, many others have nothing to bring.
The Foundation helps by providing Care Kits. These kits give children some items to help them in the transition to care – perhaps a pair of pajamas, a toy or book, some personal care products and a knapsack or duffle bag to carry it all in.
The kits may seem like a small gesture, but it is something for the children to call their own, and something they can carry their belongings in. They deserve so much more than a garbage bag.
